Raised in New York, he quickly learned the many hardships life had to offer. At present he is an editor for the “Your Healthcare. Your Choice. Blog.” His primary Role is the Chief Information Officer of Nyash Group, LLC who is conscientious in integrating Information Technology. His career path started when he held a position as an IT specialist in Higher Education, where he obtained a Bachelors degree in Music Production from Berklee College of Music then obtained Masters Degree in Management Information Systems from Nova Southeastern University. He is currently a candidate for a doctorate of organizational leadership. He is passionate about preventative Healthcare and is zealous improving patient care.

Deborah H. Gardner, MSN, BS, RN

A product of the Chatham County School system in Savannah, GA, she went on to graduate from Savannah State University with a BA degree in English Literature in 1982. An educator by profession, she has had the rare opportunity to combine her love of teaching with a degree in Nursing. Somewhat reinventing the wheel she returned to Broward Community College, a junior college in South Florida to earn an AS degree in nursing in 2000. An earned Masters Degree in Nursing from the University of Phoenix in 2005 was a dream chance for Deborah to return to the college classroom, but this time as a Clinical Educator. Training the future of the nursing profession continues to be her love and passion as she brings experience, knowledge, and humor to both the classroom and clinical environment. She is the owner of Innovations in Education, a nursing training program in Jacksonville, Florida. A 2005 Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society inductee, resides in Jacksonville Florida is a wife and a mother of two sons.

Shain Waugh, EdDc, MIS, MBA, BS, RN

A contributing editor for the “Your Healthcare. Your Choice. Blog.” He is the Chief Executive Officer of Nyash Group, LLC responsible for business operations and organizational development. He started his career as a data engineer in the banking industry where he held a business degree from Bryant University then obtained dual masters in business administration and computer information systems from Nova Southeastern University. He then migrated into the healthcare arena where he obtained a degree in nursing and became a candidate for a doctorate of organizational leadership. He has in depth aspirations to improve the healthcare system on a globalized scale.
